The Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation (PRCF) is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, marking four decades of philanthropy, partnership, and positive impact throughout Perrysburg and Northern Wood County.
Established in 1986 as a 501(c)(3) organization and the philanthropic arm of the Perrysburg Rotary Club, PRCF and its Trustees have dedicated themselves to enhancing the quality of life in the greater Perrysburg community. What began as a local commitment to service has grown into a trusted Community Foundation focused on sustaining and strengthening the place residents proudly call home.
“If you want to support charitable causes and keep your money in Perrysburg and Northern Wood County, consider a donation to, or creating a fund within the Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation,” said Jack Sculfort, Executive Director of PRCF. “We strive to be considered the go-to Foundation for Perrysburg and Northern Wood County.”
Some may be surprised to learn that the Foundation has been serving the community for 40 years. Over that time PRCF has demonstrated measurable impact. Since the year 2000, the Foundation has donated more than $2.5 million to community and worldwide projects and initiatives, supporting programs that benefit individuals, families, schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations.
Among its most visible contributions is more than $1 million invested in the development of Perrysburg Rotary Community Park, an ongoing project in partnership with the City of Perrysburg. The park stands as a lasting symbol of collaboration and community vision — a space designed for recreation, connection, and enrichment for generations to come.
PRCF’s mission remains clear and focused:
To enhance the quality of life in Perrysburg and Northern Wood County by providing pathways for individuals, and public, private, and non-profit entities, to support charitable community and global projects and initiatives.
As the Foundation looks to the future, its leadership is committed to building on 40 years of trust and stewardship. PRCF’s Board of Trustees includes Richard Sipp, Chair; Susan Nelson, Vice Chair; Christine Castellano, Treasurer; and Trustees Joanie Asendorf, Bill Bohney, Kim Klewer, Jim Nooney, Greg Rufty, and Mitchel Skotynsky. Jack Sculfort serves as the Foundation’s Executive Director. Wayne Koskinen, former Trustee Treasurer, has been appointed as the Foundation’s Controller.
